DRUM CIRCLE
Drum Circle is an engaging activity in which a group of people is set to play drums and percussion, experimenting and expanding the sense of oneness and unity through the support of the facilitator, which through simple techniques makes easy and immediate for everyone to be in rhythm and create engaging musicality.
Drum Circle is accessible to people of all ages and cultures, and is experiencing more and more expansion and application in business, social, therapeutic, clinical, recreational, educational and pedagogical situations.
While everyone has the freedom to express himself creating music in the moment, the level of musicianship and collective empathy grows gradually through the support of the facilitator, promoting the creation of a group consciousness where you can experience the individual potential and group cohesion . The level of musicianship is proportional to listening and communication level between group members, qualities that are revealed and nurtured within each event. In this musical cooperation, through the power of rhythm and circle, new insights and keys are learned to improve the relationship with oneself and with others. It is an end in itself, not a preparation for a performance or a show.
The pioneer of Drum Circle Facilitators is Arthur Hull that in his over 20 years career has trained more than 10,000 facilitators around the world creating an incredible network of people.
In 2016 I had the honor and pleasure to be part of the Village Music Circles facilitators’s Family formed by Arthur and mentors from all over the world at fantastic UK Playshop 2016 held at Wiston Lodge in Biggar, Scotland. The relationships network continues to grow up, let’s keep on sharing our spirits!!!
Since March 2018 I’ve the honor to be endorsed by REMO®
